Last week was my first chance to see a wrestling match in a couple of years. I got a chance to go out and watch Flat Rock open up the season with a pretty dominating win. Sure it was over Woodhaven's B team, but still a win is a win in the end.

I saw a few really great matches, and I got to see Flat Rock's star wrestler Dakotah Docktar, albeit for a very short ammount of time as he picked up a two very quick pins over Woodhaven and Hudson.

Tomorrow I'll be out to see Summit Academy wrestle, the first time I have seen them compete since I was a junior in high school and my team beat them 72-0. It will be fun to see how much they've improved over the years.

It's that time of the year again.  Preview season for wrestling has officially begun. The season also tips off tomorrow. I'll be out at Flat Rock to catch them in a quad meet.  Woodhaven and my own alma matter will be sending 'B' squads, and unless I'm mistaken Riverview will be there as well.

I'm looking forward to an exciting opening night.
